Zenec Home Care & Community Services was established in 2022 by Chinenye and Stanley, who hold a Bachelor of Social Science with a major in behavioural studies and a Bachelor of Nursing, respectively. The organization takes pride in delivering high-quality support and care through meaningful connections, diversity, innovation, and growth.
The founders possess extensive work experience in roles such as intensive family perseveration case manager, homelessness and domestic violence case manager, community services, mental health support work, mental health nursing, high-intensity care nursing, disability nursing, forensic mental health support work, and disability support work.
Their journey began with the personal challenges of navigating the NDIS for their daughter while working as a disability support worker, leading to a profound commitment to simplifying and enhancing the accessibility of the process for others.
Their wealth of experience in community service and nursing underpins the organization's mission to provide bespoke support tailored to participant's needs. The organization places great importance on respecting individual choices and collaborating to deliver strength-based and person-centred care.
Zenec’s overarching goal is to establish a resilient and supportive community for participants living with disabilities, and mental health challenges, and those reintegrating into the community from the correctional system. Upholding values of empowerment, respect, trust, and diversity, the company has defined objectives centred on community inclusion, diversity, and humility.
