Zenec supports participants who want to prepare for, access or maintain meaningful employment. Finding the right job can improve independence, confidence, financial participation and social connection. However, the employment journey can also involve challenges such as preparing applications, attending interviews, learning workplace expectations or adjusting to a new role.
Our Employment Support service is tailored to the participant’s abilities, interests, career goals and preferred work environment. We work alongside participants to identify strengths, develop practical employment skills and connect with suitable opportunities.
Support may also continue after employment begins. Our team can assist participants with workplace routines, communication, time management and strategies for maintaining employment successfully.
Our Life Skills Development service helps participants build practical abilities that support independence at home and within the community. The service is designed around each person’s current abilities, interests and long-term goals.
Participants may want to improve their cooking, budgeting, communication, personal organisation, household management or decision-making skills. Our support workers provide patient, step-by-step guidance in real-life environments, allowing participants to learn through practical experience.
We recognise that developing new skills takes time. Support is delivered at a comfortable pace, with encouragement and repetition where required. The goal is to help participants become more confident, capable and actively involved in managing their own lives.
Providing personalised disability, home and community care services that promote dignity, choice, independence and inclusion.
